National Service Scheme (NSS)

Motto: "NOT ME BUT YOU"

The NSS program encourages students to contribute to society and engage in social service activities. NSS volunteers at Keerrai Thamil Selvan Educational and Charitable Trust actively participate in various community service initiatives, including:

Cleaning of village surroundings

Tree plantation drives

Health camps to provide medical assistance

Empowerment programs for rural youth

Through these activities, NSS fosters a sense of social responsibility, leadership, and teamwork among students.

Youth Red Cross (YRC)

Motto:"TO SERVE"

The YRC focuses on humanitarian activities and health awareness. Some of the key activities under YRC include:

NSS Awareness campaigns on the hazards of drug addiction within the youth community.

Raising awareness about health programs to encourage healthy living.

Providing First Aid to the wounded and sick.

Relief work during emergencies, offering assistance during natural disasters or other crisis situations.

The YRC instills a sense of compassion and service in students while contributing positively to the community.

Academic Monitoring Cell (AMC)

Objectives:

    To formulate a fair and objective system for the functioning of the Academic Monitoring Cell.

    To plan and organize academic activities effectively.

    To achieve professional and academic development for students, enhancing their overall personality.

    To develop scientific criteria and strategies for effective implementation.

Curriculum Committee

Objectives:

    Plan, modify, and evaluate the curriculum to ensure it meets the required standards.

    Systematically evaluate the professional requirements and align the curriculum accordingly.

    Implement ongoing formal evaluations of the curriculum.

    Review and approve requests for adding, deleting, or modifying individual curriculum activities.

Disciplinary Committee

Objectives:

    Ensure a calm and peaceful academic atmosphere on the campus.

    Prevent physical confrontations and conflicts among students.

    Conduct inquiries into any reports of indisciplinary activities.

    Take steps to reduce violence and confrontation in the future.

Staff Development Committee

Objectives:

    Promote planning, development, and coordination of staff development activities to support the institution’s mission and goals.

    Enhance workplace harmony and cooperation among all employees.

    Help staff members maximize their potential in professional practice.

    Keep faculty members updated with recent developments in teaching and research methods.

Students Nurses Association (SNA)

Objectives:

    Play an active role within the student government.

    Conduct elections for student association officers.

    Plan and publish a calendar of activities for students.

Library Committee

Objectives:

    Meet changing expectations and demands of students and faculty.

    Decide and adopt policies to govern the management and operations of the library.

    Prepare the annual budget, rules, and regulations for the library.

    Serve as a standing committee of the Academic Council, ensuring the library’s continuous improvement.

Staff Selection Committee

Objectives:

    Define required qualifications and selection criteria for staff positions.

    Recruit well-qualified and competent candidates for various roles within the institution.

Anti-Ragging Committee

Objectives:

    Ensure a ragging-free campus by maintaining strict rules and regulations.

    Prevent and eliminate ragging to ensure a safe environment for students.

    Foster amicable relations between students and faculty.

    Take disciplinary actions and punish those who indulge in ragging activities.

Admission Procedure

  • Only female candidates are eligible to apply.
  • Candidate should complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the course.
  • Candidates shall be medically fit
